This course is designed for airport and cargo handling staff and security supervisors and operations managers involved in screening baggage. You will gain a thorough understanding of the screening process, including the use of x-ray machines, metal detectors, and other screening equipment. You will also learn about the various types of prohibited and Dangerous Goods and how to identify them, as well as how to check documentation and packages for indications of undeclared Dangerous Goods. Additionally, you will be trained on how to handle and respond to security incidents and Dangerous Goods emergencies. Upon completion of this course, you will have the skills and knowledge necessary to pass the relevant certification exams and become a certified security screener.
