Course Title for 4.1.D – DGR Training for Personnel Responsible for Processing or Accepting Dangerous Goods
Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) training for personnel responsible for processing or accepting Dangerous Goods and comply with the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) certification requirements.
Initial Training (Radioactive material not included)

Recurrent Training
- 3 days (24 hours)
Personnel from the freight forwarders, airlines, ground handling agents, helicopter operators, postal operators and packaging suppliers dealing with Dangerous Goods
After completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Understand the national and international legal framework on the air transport of Dangerous Goods
- Understand the specific responsibilities of the shipper and operator.
- Navigate the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations to correctly apply it to classify, identify, pack, mark, label, document, accept, store, load the Dangerous Goods shipment, based on your specific job function.

Current year IATA DG Regulations Manual and the UAE Civil Aviation Regulations (CAR) Part VI Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air (DGR Aviation will provide these for the duration of the training)
Plenty of simulation exercises and case studies on various types of Dangerous Goods shipment to enable participants to progressively apply their knowledge and skills to prepare and accept Dangerous Goods shipment.
Final assessment (theory and practical) on last day of class to assess participant’s knowledge, skills and attitude on the application of the Regulations.
- A Certificate and an Identification Card will be issued upon the successful completion of the course.
- Certificate is valid for two years.
